((Small update, and sorry for the further delays, folks, but this blog will be on hiatus until June. I’ll try to reply to everyone I owe a reply to after school is out, but currently my muse for Night is rather absent.))

I will soon (within the next few weeks) be re-starting my Youtube Channel! I’m getting a new banner, and will set up a tentative schedule for video postings. Updates will be posted on Youtube, and here!

((Sorry for the unexplained disappearance, but I have had a shitload of work to do lately. When I’m caught up, I’ll be back, but I’ll try to do a reply or two every other day. Sorry folks, but senior year is rough! >.< ))

“You’d better be damn sure, because I have not spent most of my waking hours in this place to watch it burn at the whims of some ancient shadow of the past.” Night spat, turning away for a few moments.
Yes, she had taught him much, and yes, he had chosen to almost forget a lot of it. It was a strange magic, powerful…yet it felt dangerous. Foreign, even. So he tried to avoid using it whenever he could. Not only that, but every magic left a trace…and the magic Rin taught him left a most interesting trace indeed.
“…sorry for disturbing you. I should just deal with these things on my own, I suppose.” Night sighed, as he began walking towards the door.
She groaned as she stood up and crossed the distance between them, her finger tips catching his robe. She had no right to push him away, when for once he at least thought before he acted.
“No you did the right thing Night. However you need to accept your new powers, you can’t keep clinging onto the past. Its time for you to move on, right now is a perfect time in fact. Even if you fight for Ashe those power you will need. It can save you from the corruption and turn things right around. It can help.”
Her face grew soft as she gripped his robes even tighter. “Stop being a fool my apprentice. Its time for you to grow strong and finally unleash your potential. If not I’m afraid the outcome shall be….most troublesome.” Rin let out a sigh as she leaned against him. She was growing weak and tired, her current body unable to contain herself anymore. Yet she stuck around for the time being, looking after things she needed to.
He hadn’t been counting on her changing her tune this quickly, but he couldn’t say he was surprised. She would not abandon him, merely make him help himself rather than hold his hand.
“It’s…like learning and using a new language, almost. A language that can inspire fear in even some of the bravest. I don’t want to jeopardize my standing in the League, either. They aren’t exactly…pleased with me, even when things are good.”
He turned back around, a grim smile on his face. There wasn’t much more running he would do, now, unless it was towards the war front.
“But I suppose it must be embraced. I will, as you suggest, use this to help Ashe’s cause. From the sound of things, she’ll need all the help she can get to survive the coming storm.”

“Even if I can move the draw of my own magic, there’s still a few thousand frost mages that haven’t the slightest clue about what’s coming their way! Not to mention the fact that while I have the ability to draw from elsewhere, yes, no other location will give me the power that the Freljord holds.” Night growled back.
Night brought his left arm up, the metal plates sliding open to show the bright organic veins within that let him meld so seamlessly with the technology. Inside the blue glow of Night’s energy, though, there were obvious flecks of darkness.
“The corruption is already present in myself, as it is in every frost mage on the continent. You know better than I do about this sort of magic, how it roots itself in you and grows like an infection.”
“You see theres your problem with you “Mages” of this world. You think need some place to control your magic? Are you blind Night? Have you ignored everything I have taught you so far? YOU control the magic, make it come from YOU! Not some damn place!”
Her finger was jammed into his chest as she stood locked in eye contact with him. This had happened before, a soul gaze of sorts. She refused to lock eyes with others for this reason. So many things she had showed him because of it, and so many things he had seen. They were things that she had shown him that would forever scar him. However now she showed him what exactly she meant, how the power she gave him should work.
“That, ” she hissed “Is how you draw in magic, not from some place in the world that could be corrupted at a whim!” She tore away from him shuddering slightly. The down fall of what she showed him, she was able to see what all he had been up to. Sighing she sat down in the chair again. “The summoners will be fine. I’ve already seen it.”
“You’d better be damn sure, because I have not spent most of my waking hours in this place to watch it burn at the whims of some ancient shadow of the past.” Night spat, turning away for a few moments.

“Well perhaps you should take some time to look away from your blasted scrying mirrors and look at the reality of things! You know from your years of study that on every world, each branch of magic has its roots somewhere in the physical world. Also somewhat obviously is the fact that Freljord is the root of frost magic. So let’s take a little look at the logical procession here, and we’ll see that as the ice in Freljord gets corrupted by this Ice Witch, every bloody mage who uses ice will go the same path!” Night growled back.
“I don’t particularly care if the world gets frozen over. In fact, that would be kind of nice, considering that Shurima gets too damn hot. But what I do care about is if I go batshit insane!”
She rolled eyes at him. He didn’t understand at all again. Why couldn’t he just open his eyes. She realized what would happen, even then she still supported it. Darkness was something she accepted, it was that simple. Yet he wouldn’t understand.
“Magical holds can be broken you twat! Besides why should you care! You know how to draw your magic from other places so use it!” She snapped back, a growl also escaping her throat.

Let’s reblog this to see who’s allegiance is to who!
I’ll start
My Allegiance is to the Avarosan! You’re my Queen Ashe!
“I want nothing to do with this war, though I support the effort to unite the Freljord.”
((I picked Frostguard only because looks XD))
The Avarosan strive for peace and prosperity for all. I stand with them, for a united Freljord.

The door swung open quickly, yet another obvious sign of Night’s agitation. He wasn’t angry, but he was most certainly not himself. The Summoner walked briskly to Rin’s desk, lacing his hands together to keep himself from slamming them on her desk.
“Why the hell are you supporting this…this….Ice Witch! She has corruption following her like smoke follows a a bloody pyromancer. She’s corrupting the Freljord, and given your intelligence, I’m pretty sure you can figure out where that will lead!” Night hissed, curling his hands into fists.
Her laugh echoed threw out the room as she tossed her head back. Who did the fool think he was? Slowly she calmed herself, looking him dead in the eye as the air began to crackle. She stood, even though she wasn’t taller then him her mere presence could frighten anyone.
“Why you ask? Think of WHO you are asking Night! Just think about what creature YOU are questioning!” Magic cracked and thundered as the air began to grow cold. How dare the little brat question her! “The things I have foreseen are not pleasant for this land and in its current state it will fall! An ice age will be the least of its worries!” She growled.

Night pounded his metal fist on the door to Rin’s office, a scowl on his face. Summoners had started putting small banners declaring their faction allegiance on their doors, and Night had just happened to see what Rin’s choice was. Needless to say, he was not happy.
“Rin! If you’re in there, I need to speak with you!” Night called through the door, crossing his arms while he waited.
For the rare few sensitive enough and attuned to Night’s magic, they could feel part of what was upsetting him. A small, black speck amidst the pool of blue frost and white lighting…corruption. The source was evident.
Rin sat at her desk, filling out reports on top of reports. She sighed when she heard his knock. Summoners had been going around, placing signs of their allegiance around. She wanted to keep hers a secret, something only the high council would know. Yet someone had to go around and put her up. She growled as she turned towards the door.
“Come in Night, You don’t have to knock!”
She set the quill down and picked up her mug instead. Her tea had gone cold yet she didn’t mind. Leaning back she let her eyes close hearing the door open.
“What do you need?”
The door swung open quickly, yet another obvious sign of Night’s agitation. He wasn’t angry, but he was most certainly not himself. The Summoner walked briskly to Rin’s desk, lacing his hands together to keep himself from slamming them on her desk.
